The approval ballot is the official ballot and will determine the winner.  But in the spirit of research on public choice, we are conducting an experiment and asking members to rank candidates from best (1) to worst (5).  If you would  like to take part in this experiment, please indicate your rankings of the candidates after their colleges/universities.  If two or more candidates are tied in your rankings, put the mean of their ranks--had they been strictly ranked--next to their colleges/universities.  (For example, if two candidates are tied for second place, they would both be ranked (2 + 3)/2 = 2 1/2.)
